Abstract Submission

The Organising Committee of the 4th Asian Paediatric Ethics Conference (APEC 2026) invites delegates, researchers, clinicians, academicians, students, and healthcare professionals to submit abstracts for presentation at the conference to be held in Bengaluru, India on 10 – 11 October 2026.

This conference aims to provide a platform for sharing research, innovative practices, ethical discussions, and emerging perspectives in paediatric ethics and healthcare.

Presentation Categories

• Young Investigator Award (Oral Presentation Only)
• Free Paper Oral Presentation
• Poster Presentation

Participants may indicate their preferred presentation format during submission. Final selection for oral or poster presentation will be determined by the Scientific Committee based on scientific quality and relevance.

Submission Guidelines

• All abstracts must be submitted in English.
• Abstracts should be original and relevant to paediatric ethics, bioethics, healthcare practice, research, or related interdisciplinary topics.
• Multiple abstract submissions are permitted.
• Abstracts must be submitted through the official online online submission portal.
• Incomplete or late submissions will not be accepted.
• Abstracts should include the following sections:

• Authors / Affiliations
• Background and Aim
• Methods
• Results
• Conclusions
• References

Young Investigator Award Criteria

• Presenter must be below 40 years of age at the time of presentation.
• The first author must be the presenting author.
• The presenter should have significantly contributed to the research study.

Review and Acceptance

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Accepted abstracts may be selected for Oral or Poster presentation categories.

Notification regarding acceptance will be communicated via email to the presenting author.
